ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (October 31, 2019) – Tropicana Atlantic City’s Chelsea Five Gastropub will donate $1 to The Community FoodBank of New Jersey with every purchase of the November Burger or Cocktail of the Month. As the holidays quickly approach, the organization is preparing to combat hunger and provide meals for those in need.

November’s Burger of the Month, the “Give Thanks Burger,” includes a house-signature turkey burger topped with chorizo-cornbread stuffing, turkey gravy and cranberry sauce served with a side of sweet potato tater tots for $17.

A $13 Autumn Mule will also be available during the month of November. The Autumn Mule features a delightful mixture of Ketel One Vodka, spiced pear liqueur, cane syrup, mint and ginger beer. For each beverage purchased, $1 will go to The Community FoodBank of New Jersey.

The nonprofit organization is able to turn every $1 donated into $8 worth of food for those struggling in our local communities.

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey is the state’s largest anti-hunger and poverty organization. The Southern Branch addresses food insecurity throughout Atlantic, Cumberland and Cape May County. Food services provided by the organization include stocking school food pantries for children, distributing boxed food supplies to seniors, as well as bringing food to areas where there are not enough food pantries and soup kitchens to meet the need via the Mobile Food Pantry.
