"How Sweet It Is" to hear the smooth Motown soul of the Temptations at the Tropicana, September 28 - 30
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (August 30, 2007) – "How Sweet It Is" to hear the distinct harmonies and see the fine-tuned choreography of the Temptations. The Tropicana Casino & Resort announced the Temptations will perform in the Tropicana Showroom on Friday, September 28 through Sunday, September 30.
In January 2006, the Temptations released Reflections, bringing their total records to more than 60, which contains covers of popular Motown songs from acts such as Diana Ross & the Supremes, The Miracles, Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell and the Jackson 5.
The current Temptations feature Otis Williams, Ron Tyson, Terry Weeks, Joe Herndon and Bruce Williamson. Williams, the last original member, has remained a leader and member of the vocal group since its formation in 1960.
Over the Temptations' long-standing career, they released four number one pop hit singles, fourteen number one R & B hit singles and received three Grammy Awards. Endless classic hits like "How Sweet It Is," "Ain’t Too Proud to Beg," "Since I Lost My Baby," "Papa Was a Rolling Stone," and "My Girl" keep the Temptations' legacy alive.
