The Tropicana scares up some fun With Halloween Parties, the Rocky Horror Picture Show and a Special Treat for Local Children.
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – October 09, 2007 – The Tropicana Casino & Resort announced its annual Halloween celebration, packed with big prizes, drink specials, music and dancing. Be sure to look for the Bud Girls throughout The Quarter, and you just might receive a prize for wearing your costume. Here are the details on the spooktacular action:
Cuba Libre • Saturday, October 27
It's Halloween in Havana, presented by Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar and Missile Bar! Wear your naughtiest, sexiest and most creative costumes and receive reduced admission. Plus, your costume could win you a trip. Enjoy bewitched drink specials, including half-priced Cuba Libre Brand Rum Mojitos and bottles of Corona and Corona Light, from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Music will be provided by DJ Javier, as he spins Latino house, salsa and merengue at Cuba Libre. Providence AC is set to host its first Halloween party in Atlantic City – and they're giving it that distinct New York flair. Enjoy reduced admission until midnight, just for wearing a costume. MTV's DJ Reach and Jason Smith AKA DJ Boogie will spin the music. Big prizes are in store for the best costumes, including $1000 for first place and a complimentary bottle for second and third place winners. It's simply not Halloween with the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show. Come in costume and dance along at an event that's so much more than a movie. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is rated R and plays in the IMAX Theater Friday and Saturday at Midnight and Sunday – Wednesday at 11 p.m. Tickets are just $10.

Special Halloween Party at the Texas Avenue School • Tuesday, October 30
On Tuesday, October 30 at 1 p.m., Tropicana Casino and Resort will host a Halloween Party for the 480 schoolchildren at Atlantic City’s Texas Avenue School. Each child will receive a flashlight for trick or treating and a fun Halloween-themed cake will be delivered to each of the 24 classrooms.
