WHO:
Hundreds are expected to attend the Second Annual The Quarter at Tropicana to enjoy a diverse sampling of appetizers, entrees and beverages from each of the celebrated restaurants, lounges and bars. Local dignitaries and well-known media personalities including: Senator James Whelan, Senator Jeff Van Drew, Assemblyman John Amodeo, Assemblyman Vincent Polistina, Coucilman Dennis Mason, Marc Miller of SoJO 104.9, Ms. Senior New Jersey Bernadette Dudak, Scott Cronick of At the Shore and The Press of Atlantic City, Chuck Darrow of Philadelphia Daily News, Pinky Kravitz of WOND and AC Weekly, Teresa Berry of WMGM TV 40, Barbara Altman of WOND, Eddie Davis of Lite Rock 96.9, Lew Steiner of AC Weekly, Jen Miller of DownTheShoreWithJen blog and the Hooters Girls will all be on hand to be our “Chefs” for the night and mingle with guests.

WHAT:
Tropicana is hosting the Second Annual Taste of The Quarter event with more than 15 participating venues with 100 percent of the proceeds going to United Way. Guests will get to sample various items from each location and enjoy music from the Howard Isaacson Jazz Trio in Fiesta Plaza and DJ Raymond Tyler from WTTH The Touch in Central Plaza and salsa dancers. Tickets will be available for purchase the day of the event for $25 or in advance through Ticketmaster. Guests must be 21 to participate. United Way will also host a raffle for prizes during the event.
