2009 Jeep Commander and $20,000 Cash Giveaway – Diamond Club members will automatically be entered to win the 2009 Jeep Commander Giveaway for every 10 points they earn playing slots and tables. The drawing will be held at 6pm on Sunday, June 21 in Palm Walk. Diamond Club members can check their entries on the kiosks.

For every 5 points Diamond Club members earn March 16 through June 20, they will be able to guess (once per day) the amount of balls that fill up the 2009 Jeep Commander. The Jeep Commander will be on display in Palm Walk with a kiosk so that members can easily make their guesses. The Diamond Club member or members who guess the exact amount of balls in the Jeep Commander will win $20,000. If more than one Diamond Club member guess the correct number of balls in the Jeep Commander, then they will split the prize money. The winner(s) will be announced at 6pm on Sunday, June 21.

Blue Parrot Pool Bar Opens for the Season! - Beginning Memorial Day weekend Tropicana will get the summer season started with the opening of the outdoor pool deck and bar, the Blue Parrot Pool Bar. While lounging at the pool deck, guests can enjoy music, light fare and drink specials. Located on the 6th Floor of the North Tower, the pool bar overlooks the beach and Boardwalk. Additionally, Tropicana will also have beverages, cabanas and beach chairs available for guests to enjoy the beach for a nominal fee.

Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar - This summer, put down the spatula and leave the grilling to the experts. Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar is introducing a Summer Cuban BBQ menu that adds Latin flair to cook-out classics. A special menu of appetizers, entrees, sides and desserts featuring a variety of grilled meats, seafood and vegetables mixed with classic and contemporary Cuban cuisine will be available.

Palm Restaurant – The Palm is currently featuring their “Big Steak” dinner for only $39 per person. The meal features a choice of Monday Night Salad, Caesar Salad, Mixed Green Salad or Lobster Bisque, a choice of 14oz Filet Mignon, 9oz Filet Mignon Oscar-Crabmeat, asparagus and hollandaise sauce or Fresh Halibut Filet and a side dish. The “Big Steak” dinner will be available through May.

Planet Rose – Beginning May 14, Planet Rose will host Locals Night every Thursday with drink specials including: $5 Absolut drinks, $7 Absolut and Red Bull, $3 Coors Light bottles, and $75 Absolut pints with four Red Bull. On May 14 their will also be a special guest appearance from a professional surfer. Planet Rose will host happy hour from 7-9pm Sunday through Thursday.
