The Tropicana to award $100,000 in
the Keep it Green Giveaway September 14
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (July 23, 2008) –
Every day can be Earth Day, thanks to the $100,000 Keep it Green Giveaway taking place from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2008 at the Tropicana Casino and Resort.
“Environmental conservation is on everyone’s priority list these days. While going green has multiple benefits, it also has its costs, and many people don’t know where to start,” said Mark Giannantonio, the Tropicana’s President and COO. “The Keep it Green Giveaway will provide a total of $100,000 in cash prizes to 40 winners, who can use their prize money to invest in the green products, services and technologies of their choice.”
On Sunday, September 14, 2008, the Tropicana will award $10,000 in cash prizes at 12 p.m., a $25,000 runner-up prize at 2 p.m. and $15,000 in cash prizes at 4 p.m. At 6 p.m., one lucky player will be named the grand prize winner of $50,000.
“With a free $50,000 in hand, our grand prize winner can use that ‘green’ to ‘go green’ by purchasing a hybrid car, upgrading to energy efficient appliances or starting eco-friendly home improvements,” Giannantonio continued.
The Tropicana’s Keep it Green Giveaway is open to all Diamond Club members. Entries can be earned now through September 13, 2008, simply by playing Tropicana slots and table games with the Diamond Club card.
