The road trip makes a comeback as the Tropicana Casino and Resort gives away $25,000 in free gas cards and a 2008 Smart Car convertible – the tiny car that packs huge fuel savings. On Sunday, July 6, 2008, the Tropicana will award a total of $25,000 in free gas cards in hourly drawings from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Palm Walk on the Casino Floor. At 6 p.m., one player will be named the grand prize winner of a 2008 white convertible Smart Car with a tan interior loaded with all the bells and whistles, valued at $21,500. This Smart Car, purchased through Mercedes Benz, will be on display in the Palm Walk throughout the promotional period.
