How Sweet It Is featuring Australia’s Hit Pop Group – Human Nature - Presents Tribute Show to Motown Music January 6 – March 1, 2008
ATLANTIC CITY – November 26, 2007 – “How Sweet It Is” that Australia’s hot pop music group, Human Nature, brings its special tribute to our Motown era during the blokes’ debut American engagement at the Tropicana Casino and Resort.
Often compared to ‘NSYNC or the Backstreet Boys, Human Nature has topped Australia’s music charts many times and is considered to be the most popular Australian vocal group ever.
Now, the four performers, Toby Allen, Phil Burton, Andrew Tierney and Michael Tierney, will bring their exciting act, aptly titled “How Sweet It Is,” to the United States on the heels of releasing their newest hit album, “Get Ready.”
The album is the third in a trilogy to Motown and perhaps the most special because true superstar legends such as Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and Mary Wilson of The Supremes recorded with them.
Robinson even traveled to Australia in November to do some live, showcase performances with Human Nature. Besides Australia, the group also is recognized for it’s outstanding concert and stage performances in many European venues. In addition, dynamic Human Nature has opened for superstars Celine Dion and Michael Jackson.
Human Nature is backed up by seven live musicians and features costume changes and dance moves reminiscent of the Motown era.
Adam Steck, CEO of SPI Entertainment and producer of the show is responsible for bringing the act to the United States. He said, “I was so impressed with the group when I saw them that my gut feeling was they needed to perform in the country where Motown was “born.” So “Get Ready” to see them for yourself. “We encourage people to get up, sing and dance as they listen to such Motown classics as “Stop In The Name of Love,” “Tears of a Clown”, “Dancing In the Street,” and “Heard It Through the Grapevine.”
Steck also produces the hit Las Vegas shows, “Thunder From Down Under,” “Louie Anderson – Larger Than Life”, Sylvia Browne and “The Ronn Lucas Show”.
“How Sweet It Is” is appearing in Tropicana’s Showroom January 6 through March 1. Tickets are $25, $5 off for Diamond Club members, and are available at the Tropicana Box Office or through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com, or via phone at 1.800.736.1420.
