History: Baccarat (Italian spelling Baccara meaning zero) originated in Italy around 1490 and became Europe's favorite gambling pastime and the thrill of France's nobility where it became popular in the early 1500's. The French spelling is still used today. Baccarat was first introduced to the United States in 1911 in Saratoga and Palm Beach where it was short-lived. When Blackjack became the rage of New York, baccarat literally disappeared. Baccarat as it is known today, where the house/casino back bets, originated at Capri Casino in Havana, Cuba in the 1950's.

Mini-Baccarat: Mini-baccarat is an exciting and new addition with rules similar to baccarat only on a smaller scale. Tables seat six and are located on the gaming floor, the shoe remains with the dealer throughout play instead of with the player (players are not permitted to handle the cards) and minimum bets are lower allowing for the novice to learn the game while trying his/her luck.
